This fridge is equipped with the NextGen R600a compressor, an innovative solution designed for mobile cooling ("Tailor-made for mobile cooling"). This compressor uses natural gas R600a, ensuring high performance, low environmental impact, and high energy efficiency. Installing the NextGen compressor also reduces the overall weight of the fridge-freezer, making it 3 kg lighter than traditional models.

The design of the C90i CHR HP is intended to ensure practicality and safety. The door, which can be panelled in black and features a snap lock, is designed to prevent accidental openings, offering an additional guarantee of reliability. A noteworthy innovation is the "Vent Position" system, integrated into the handle, which allows the door to remain partially open during periods of non-use.
