    Although some 12v water pumps for camping come with in-built filters, others don’t – so it’s highly recommended that you add one. The acidity of some water sources and other contaminants can potentially damage your pump, so filtering them out is the best way to prevent this.

    CAN INDICATE THE PRESENCE OF A LEAK

    If you hear a sharp “brrr” sound in the middle of the night, it may be a sign that you’ve forgotten to turn your caravan or motorhome water pump off but it could also be an indication of a leak. The sound could be the result of the pump trying to maintain pressure in the lines, so check it out.
