    If your water inlet on your caravan/RV/yacht looks like the one in the image, it will have a 1-1/6 inch NPT thread which isn’t the same as all other plumbing fittings in Australia.

    If your water inlet on your caravan/RV/yacht looks like the one in the image, it will have a 1-1/6 inch NPT thread which isn’t the same as all other plumbing fittings in Australia. (A BSP threaded fitting available at any Aussie hardware store sized ‘3/4 inch’ will fit for a couple of turns but then leak when pressurised.)

    This tap adaptor unit has the correct thread for your water inlet. The brass snap fittings of your Flat Out hoses work best on brass and the swivel elbow adaptor so enables you to have the ultimate downward connection which:- being brass will last and handle high pressure,
    - won’t leak (as is the correct thread size),
    - is sleek, tidy and visually appealing,
    - removes potential bump hazards as you walk around your van
    - reduces load on the fitting o-rings (being angled), improving their longevity
    - 1-1/6 inch NPT parallel male, right angle swivel to 12mm (1/2inch) snap on quick connect male.
